We’re challenging you to help end hunger in our community!
Our demand for food assistance has continually grown over the last several years with a staggering 46% of our pantry guests being children – and we need your help!
Step up and take part in one of the most creative, team building community service projects!
Canstruction Madison is a competition, which takes place on May 2, 2013 at KEVA Sports Center in Middleton, where local businesses/organizations/youth groups build incredible, highly imaginative structures out of canned goods and packaged food. All food used to build the structures is then donated to the MOM Food Pantry.
Last year 22 teams competed raising nearly 29 tons of food for our food pantry. This year we hope to have 30 teams compete raising 40 tons of food!
Want to jump in but can’t figure out how to begin? We’ll help you every step of the way. Form your team, and sign up now! The final introductory team meeting is around the corner on February 28, 2013, so don’t delay!
Can’t form a team but want to be a part of the event? Sponsors are also needed to make the event a reality. Find out more by contacting Elaine Bogen, Canstruction Madison Coordinator, 608/826-3414.
